Gamescom Opening Night Live 2021 is the place to be if you are interested in an FPS campaign releasing this holiday season because Call of Duty: Vanguard will premier the first look at a single player level during the show. Joined by voice actress Laura Bailey and members of the Sledgehammer Games team, host Geoff Keighley will provide a glimpse of the World War II shooter.
An appearance from Call of Duty: Vanguard is likely to be just the first in a long line of games confirmed for the show. It was also announced yesterday that a 30-minute pre-show will house a further eight reveals before the big event gets underway. When Is Gamescom Opening Night Live 2021? We hear you ask that question, so click through the link for all the details.
The current game in question was announced yesterday as part of a Call of Duty: Warzone event, with a trailer confirming the World War II setting. Vanguard will ship with 20 maps at launch and a Zombies mode designed by Treyarch.

I’ll probably skip this and save the reveal for myself when I play it.
With Laura Bailey being a guest host I imagine it's going to be a level from the Russian sniper's part in the campaign. Would be cool if she is voicing that character.
A more interesting story is Activision removing their logo from Call of Duty Vanguard trailers in an attempt to distance their ***** company from their products
Push Square should really be mentioning the abhorrent behaviour of Activision Blizzard in any article that features their products; let's not downplay this folks.
Them and Vanguard can absolutely feck off (and that's from someone who plays/loves MW & WZ)
You guys all act so high and mighty about behaviour within a company that you have no idea about. This is a story about a game on a gaming website. Relax. As far as the game goes, ill be preordering. Cant wait to play.
Hopefully the campaign has online Co-Op.
Worth a rental.
@Greenfisted
Exactly... lets blindly carpet bomb the 9,500 emploees at Activision. Because that will help tons.
the golden days of COD are loong gone . Warzone aka battle royale is all thats carrying its dead weight . COD will never ''die'' but itll never be of the same status of fortnite , apex , gta , etc again , i guess unless you play battle royale , but if you dont and you prefer cod multiplayer then yeah , this franchise is ******* dead . how can anyone really be excited about this crap
@nomither6 If warzone was the only thing carrying it then it wouldnt be the best selling game still.
@Amppari best selling game because MW2019 came with warzone . most people still play MW over cold war .
@nomither6 warzone is a free download, nothing to do with MW2019
@Amppari its a (free) mode of MW2019 , what do you mean it has nothing to do with mw ? literally the same game - graphics , engine , gameplay , etc
thats like saying a demo has nothing to do with the full game , its half of the game .
@nomither6 it has nothing to do with MW2019 being the best selling game, you dont need to buy it to get warzone.
@Amppari well you may be right , it wasn't always free though .
